Welcome at The TravelCat

Hallo zusammen! Ich bin Sonja, eine reisesüchtige und wanderlust(ige) Mitt-Dreißigerin. Nachdem mich viele meiner Freunde und Kollegen immer wieder auf meine vielfältigen Facebookbeiträge während meiner Reisen angesprochen haben keimte die Idee auf (danke Regina 🙂 ), einen eigenen Reiseblog zu starten.

Hi There! My name is Sonja, a travel-addicted wanderer in the mid-thirtys. My friends and colleagues liked my facebook posts during my vacations so much that I decided to start a travel blog (thanks Regina for the idea).

Ich reise (noch) nicht hauptberuflich, bin also maximal 5 Wochen im Jahr auf Fernreisen. Die restliche Zeit tingle ich durch Europa oder durch die herrliche Bergwelt von Bayern und dem Salzburger Land. Es wird also nie langweilig bei mir.

Willkommen also bei „The TravelCat“, meinem digitalen Reisetagebuch durch ferne Länder, nahe Gebirge, mit lustigen Reiseanekdoten und vielleicht dem einen oder anderen nützlichen Tipp.

Freue mich über alle die gerne mitlesen und/oder meine Beiträge mit Freunden, Familie, Bekannten oder Kollegen teilen wollen.

Hi There! My name is Sonja, a travel-addicted wanderer in the mid-thirtys. My friends and colleagues liked my facebook posts during my vacations so much that I decided to start a travel blog.

I don’t travel for a living (so far), so 5 weeks of vacation is my maximum of time for overseas travel. But during the year I explore Europe and the wonderful mountains of southern Germany and Austria. So it shouldn’t get to boring.

So welcome at „The TravelCat“, my digital travelling diary through strange countrys and (sometimes) familiar mountains – with funny anecdotes and maybe one or another helpful advice.

I am happy about everybody who wants to follow my storys and please feel free to share them with family and friends if you like.
